If you have forwards, putting mid-pegs on may give you problems. I know on my bike the mid pegs would be in the way of the brake rod.

With the mids on my FXDL, I could corner really well in tight turns, but it was uncomfortable in long turns, and generally riding in a straight line was more comfortable with my feet on the highway pegs. So, I installed forwards.&nbsp\\; Great decision.&nbsp\\; Short turns took some getting used to, but the net result is positive.&nbsp\\; Oh, and I balance better standing still with the forwards.
