Brown instead of Black

Brown instead of Black
At the risk of upsetting the HD gods, I just don't do black very well. I don't know what it is, I just don't.
That being said, are there any makers out there that offer brown leather motorcyle wear?

I hear ya. Harley is starting to make some brown stuff and a google search may help also. When I'm in the mood for brown, I usually wear my Carhartt stuff...their 'chestnut' color is a perfect dark brown plus you can get pants, bibs, overalls, jackets, or parkas with a variety of insulation levels. When you add some brown leather boots (usually something from Cabelas) you will look just fine.

In my not so humble opinion. Some of finest leather jackets in the world hands down are below. Stuart Clurman is the owner of Lost Worlds and is manic about getting the details and quality in his garmets. He'll do russet brown the 'old way'.

3-4 ounce Horsehyde and made in the proper black or Russet brown same as WWII A2 jackets which he makes also. He replicated every single classic motorcycle jacket to the stitch and the quality of hyde's are unsurpassed. These are jackets that need to be broken in over time and will last a life time and beyond. They are pricey but he does have a sale page with over runs and you might catch one in your size but they are worth the money at full price; trust me.
I have an A2 Jacket and his Buco. Both are more then jackets, more like trusty companions.

They are few and in between but if you look hard enough you will find them.
Fox Creek has one or two in stock, as a custom order I think you could get any of their jackets in brown.

I've seen brown, red, and a lt. camel brown availible at our local leather shop in Anch. It's not HD leather, but is riding leather. I would have to assume there would be similar options in y'alls more populated states, if'n this is availible in AK.

Another member here started using the same photo for his AVATAR and I just figgered it would be easier to find something else. That was a 'kool' photo though...thanks for asking!
