Do you hide close calls from your spouse?

Do you hide close calls from your spouse?
I had a blue hair pull out in front of me today and I nearly lost the bike.
I considered telling my wife what happened but have decided against it. No reason to worry her about nearly getting hit by someone who probably saw Jesus live and in person.
So... when you have a close call, do you tell your spouse or just keep it to yourself, then vent here?

I try to avoidclose callsmyself
Actually, I agree with you. No sense in giving her anything more to worry about, besides a close call means you rode away, so no harm no foul.

Yep, don't tell mine. I've told him that I don't, and he's OK with that. I don't want him telling me ANYTHING about his close calls....I'd only worry.

I ask myself what do I gain by saying something and let that guide me.

They always know. Mothers, too.
Had a spectacular wipeout once when I was younger. Ended up lying on my back in 4 lanes of traffic with broken ribs. Crawled off the road, made sure the bike was clear (ain't that always the way), and crawled to a tire centre that was closest. Managed to get to my feet, and the horrified staff handed me the phone. Called home & Mom answered. In my best, most clear and unshakiest voice, I asked if Dad was there. She just handed him the phone and said "He's had an accident."
