RE: Do you hide close calls from your spouse?
Never bring it up in front of her. Worries too much when I ride anyway. Now the person I have the close call with...they get an earfull.

I tell her everything, she gonna find out anyway. Then she looks at it the same as a lie. Hide it or not, she still can't keep me off the bike.

Never tell. Not worth causing her worry or me having to hear from her how dangerous the bike is.

Last month had a close one and didn't tell. Bad thing was the first Leo on the scene knew the wife. I was gonna tell him to do me a favor and not say anything, but he was busy dealing with the accident I narrowly avoided. Well, he stopped by her work the other day and asked how I was doing after such a close call..........................you can figure out the rest of the story!

Well she's ether on her bike riding behind me or sitting behind me on mine most of the time, but if she is not there I just tell my dog and she only tells the cat!

I tell my wife every time I remember. This helps keep her on her toes as well.

The wife was on the back for the last close call, it happened to beduring test ride and she was impressed at how well the bike handled a very quick lane change to avoid getting run over. I now own that bike. Usually it is not the close calls that bother me, I learn from them, it is seeing a bike on a wrecker or still at the seen of the accident because that is a brother that didn't escape the close call.
