I vote no studs. I think your bags have a cool, clean look already. Studs will look weird on the lines of that bag.

I think you should just go ahead and buy a whole new set of studded bags. Then (heh heh) go ahead and sell me your plain non wow-factor bags really cheap becuae I like them and I think they would look great on my FXDI. Just a suggestion. Oh yeah....go ahead and stud the seat too.

I just made the mistake of showing my wife the Mustang one piece studded seat in the J&P catalog....she loved it. Now I gotta find a deal on one, already checked ebay but none there.
FYI: M&M Cycles sells the Mustang seats at 20% off ...

... and no studs for my bike ... if I had the Heritage Softail, it would be a different story ...

At first I thought we were talking about studded tires for winter driving. [sm=smiley20.gif]

As for looks, the studded look is OK on a Heritage Classic for that "Classic" look. Other than that I don't know it would depend on how many and where.

Two conchos per side with some leather lace attached to each would be cool. i think that would fit your bike good.

www.mandmcycles.com This place is selling Mustang Seats right now for 20% off not often you find that. I have never bought from them but they sure do reply to your e-mails in a timely manner and I have read on other forums and maybe even this one that they are great to deal with. Hope this helps.

Kicks,

J&P was at the show in Chicago last year so you might get a chance to see the product and maybe even get a special "show price" on it this weekend.
