CV or butterfly carb
What you prefer and why. I am very much partial to the cv carbs I like the throttle response and am currently looking for a 44 SE cv and want to trade the super e with cleaner and cover so icould just get the 44 cv carb. any takers?

RE: CV or butterfly carb
I have always like the VV (variable venturi) or butterfly as you call them. The bikes that I have the most hours wrenching on are Kawasaki's, and in the years when I was working the dealerships, Kaw was using a lot of Mikuni carbs, and 99% were VV. I never noticed a difference in throttle response, but the VV is just a easier carb to work on with less failure points.(ie: no critical large rubber diaphragm on top to mess with). I also have experience with Kehine, Bing, and a few others.....but I worked with Mikuni the most.....thats the only reason I like them.....well that and smooth-bores.
