I did, until I bought her a 2008 Street Bob for Christmas. Now I think she hides it from me.

I guess I pretty lucky in the "scoot" department. My wife is a teacher and whatever she makes is hers. I pay all the bills and she never questions my HD purchases. When I brought the first HD home (01' FXDLI) she said "how much was that damn thing anyway?" I said a little over $4000 (which was the check I wrote and the other was in cash). She said "you're crazy for spending that much money on a motorcycle. But, if you think you will get that much fun out of it, I guess it is okay." Isold my 01'and got anindentical 05'.Other than the three week absence of a bike in the garage until the new one came, she never really noticed I got a new one. She has no interest in my Harley and the tools I have in my shop. I never question the "crap" she is constantly bringing in the house such as pictures, plants, etc. But, after 30+ years of marriage, we don't jump each other for what we spend.

Wife always knows what I spend. I don't hide anything from her and she doesn't hide anything from me. If ya don't have trust in a relationship, why be in it? 22+ years and very happily married...guess I am one of the lucky few the way it looks here.

Mine just knows that it is an expensive hobby. All the rest of the bills are paid. She gives me the "green light" just knowing it makes me happy.

My wife loves to ride almost as much as I. I show her the stuff and where it goes and how much I spent. She loves the bike and it's cool with her.
PS. She loves all the HD clothes. I buy a part, she buys clothes.

No. She knows my bike is my passion. She knows when I need to go for a ride, so she tells me to go. When I get back I'm a much better person. I try to save a little money then buy what I want. She doesnt question the outragous service or repair bills.
