Don't know about that? But one of the Harley shops here in town has an insurance policy whereby you have to leave a $2,000.00 dollar deposit (via credit card or cash)prior to your taking the bike off the lot. In the event of the bike being stolen or crashed, you would be out the $2,000.00 and they'd pick up the rest. I'm pretty sure the other HD shop in town is about the same as it relates to the deposit deal/coverage, etc.

I never rented through Harley... EagleRider used to have a 100% coverage policy that was cheap as hell... I think they got burned a bunch because last I checked it was more expensive and covered less... Now you have a $1000 deductible if you buy the extra insurance... But it's covered for damage and theft...

My insurance doesn't cover rental bikes so I bought the insurance. Don't want to have to make payments on a stolen bike! I'd keep looking or even talk to your Insurance agent to see if there is something you can add on to your policy...

Good Luck.

Call your insurance company on your bike and ask them about rental coverage on your policy. I am renting a street glide in September while out of town. My guy at Allstate gave me $25,000 rental coverage, $0 deducable for about $10 per YEAR. The harley dealers wanted $30 per DAY and a $2000 deductable(that is crazy high), I said no thanks.
