Mechanix's automotive gloves.
Do you cut the fingers off?
Only when you need a condom.
So once a year?

GEEZ. Somebody uses the words "gloves" and "50-70* " in the same post? And you're worried someone will post "fingerless" gloves in here? Is there any way we can get 2 FORUMs going. One for the "REAL COOL" bikers and then one for ppl who wear gloves at 50 -70*s?

Howdy, RG. The "Mechanix" gloves are good. I use "Ironclad" brand for on the job. They do the same thing, but IMHO, they are more flexible. And the palms are sort of like suede, and the fingers are breathable. (So no need to go "fingerless" and look, well, you know, rhimes with day)I can pick up things with the Ironclad that I can't with Mechanix, but for riding, guess that would not be an issue. I get them at Menards here.
When it's below zero, hands get COLD real fast, so guessing they would be good for your "cold" weather riding, buddy.

I use baseball batting gloves. They fit great and are very flexible. You can usually use a razor blade and remove any manufactures emblems without damaging the gloves.

I have a pair of convertable gloves. They have a zipper around each mid-finger joint. Comes in handy when it gets above 70...

I don't know the brand of my summer gloves. I bought them in a metric shop. They are unlined leather motorcycle gloves and fit well enough that I forget I have them on. I'm reluctant to order gloves from a catalog or over the internet. I like to try them on first and satisfy myself with the fit.
+1, to me you have to try on gloves. Just go to dealers (HD and non-HD) in your area and try them out. I too like to wear gloves in warm weather. I put on Iso Grips over the winter, we'll see when warm weather rolls around if I stick with the gloves.
