Lee33, look at the red cable connection, the positive cable, from the battery down to the connection on the starter.On my sportster years ago the cable actually corroded thru where it was crimped into the terminal on the cable. It happened to me and broke in half when I pulled up in my driveway after a nice drive in the country. I just read a story about this happeningto the author of the article. This cable just reaches the two connections, if you can find an electrical shop to make one, make it about a half inch longer. Look at this connection and for other loose connections. Good luck
