Ah man, that's a shame. Talk about going off the deep end. I can understand the father threatening the guy on the bike for following his daughters home, but shooting him as he drove back past, is just extreme and over the edge. The guy was probably just trying to get a lousy phone number out of the girls and came across as stalkerish. Can't be too careful these days, but just out and out shooting him!? ::shakes head::

as a retired LEO this was not justified and the biker posed no threat to life or limb. He should be in jail. It is hard to say self defense when you shoot someone in the back.

Maybe the girls should have called the police instead of their father. Now the man is dead and the girls are probably going to loose their father for a long time. It's a shame.

Madness! Only in the U.S. of A. Shoot first, ask questions later. Hard to buy a 'self defence' argument, when you shot the guy in the back, as he was obviously riding away. Unbelievable. [:@]

The article stated that there was a collision. Since when is against the law to follow somone if they hit you and you follow them to identify. being on a motorcycle he couldn't call. hopefully they'll charge one of the girls for leaving the scene of an accident.

should charge the girls with a conspiracy charge. I doubt anyone on a motorcycle would run into a car, as stated, I think the girls probably ran into him and when they seen he was still able to ride and follow them theyed called their dad to remedy the situation. What a waste.

Unfortunate that someone lost their life. Even more unfortunate is that I can see the whole scenario un-playing having gotten ticked off at a motorist and done just like the motorcyclist in this incident did - follow the car, give them a nasty gesture and mouth off/yell. Kind of hard not to when you are almost injured or killed by someone not paying attention or not even caring! Too bad this incident got out of hand.
