Hit a deer with my atv going about 55 on a gravel road. Locked up the brakes slide into the deer had it pretty much setting on my lap by the time I stopped. When I did stop it kept on running. That was a scary time.

First one was a rabbit back in the mid 60's. I was riding a Triumph at the time. I tried to swerve to miss him but he swerved at the same time and I hit him with my front wheel and totally lost it. I still have the scars from that one but did learn the hard way not to swerve.
In later years I bumped a couple of squirrels, a cat and a dog or two but we all survived with only hurt pride.

Unfortunately, I did give Bambi a good smack with my work van very early one morning about 7 years ago on the Jersey Turnpike. I'd just got the van 3 days before. Major damage to the drivers side front quarter panel. Um... unfortunately also major damage to Bambi.

Nothing since... knocking on wood.

2000 Hit a doe on the way to the Redwood Run from Idaho at 4:30 am. Thought my day was over but at the last minute she turned just enough that I hit her with the right fork leg and the crash bar.

2007 80 mph down the highway something just up from the divider, splatters blood all over the left side of the bike and me. Split some medium sized bird in half and left it hanging between the spot light and T/S.

I've never hit any live on any of my bikes, except bugs. Did hit some not-quite-fresh roadkill a couple weeks ago on the way home from work.

It was on a two-lane rural road. I'd been watching ahead of the minivan ahead of me waiting for an opportunity to pass. As I saw my chance approaching, I sped up which resulted in less than my normal buffer between me and the minivan. The van passed over the roadkill without touching it, but I hit it dead center. The smell was awful!! When I got home I had to spend some time picking hamburger out of the bottom of the bike.
