Default Exhaust??

I just sold my 2001 softail and purchased a new 2006 Street Glide and want to change the exhaust mufflers and was wondernig if remapping/rejetting the motor is really needed. The reason I am asking this ?? is on my 2001 softail I installed a set of Vance & Hines exhaust system and the bike ran great. I was told by a buddy I need to get it rejetted so I did and It ran like crap. It took several trips back to the shop to get it to run the way it did when I first installed the exhaust. One of my buddies just purchased a new Deluxe and installed new exhaust and his bike is injected like mine it ran fine when the new exhaust was installed but we all here how important it is for remapping/rejetting, is it really needed?? I know that on my dragboat when I go from Zoomie exhaust to Headers I need to change the pill in the injection system but we are talkng alot smaller exhaust and alot more C.I. and a blower.
Any help would really be appreciated.

Default RE: Exhaust??

I have found better performance with both the air cleaner and fuelpack for Vance & Hines Big Radius. Good Luck!
