Harley Davidson Boots Question

RE: Harley Davidson Boots Question
First you need to tell us if you have a bike and what kind. Then you have to honestly say if you actually ride it. Only then can we fix you up with the proper boots. For example, Birkenstocks if on a BMW, pretty much any sturdy black boot if on a Harley.

RE: Harley Davidson Boots Question
I use the lace up boots with zippers on the inside as well, and they work great. Not made by hd, the price was right, and they are comfortable as hell. I wouldn't hesitate to wear them regularly if I wasn't worried about wearing them out too soon. This will be my 3rd year using them.

RE: Harley Davidson Boots Question
I have: Red Wing lineman lace ups, H-D harness boots with real Vibram soles and heels, Durango harness boots, Lowa insulated hiking boots. Which ones to I wear the most? The Lowas. They are comfortable in all weather and you may walk in them without pain. Next best are the Red Wings as they offer the best protection and are not to bad to walk in. For HOG rides and Biker dress-up parties, I do the H-D boots as they match my fingerless gloves and ***-less chaps I ferget why I bought the Durangos....??????[:@]

RE: Harley Davidson Boots Question
I wear a pair of custom built Westco boots. Yeah, I paid for 'em but it got so I couldn't find a pair that was tall enought for my likeing. I got what I wanted built with steel toes (I would have preferrred composite) and tall enough so the weather doesn't get up between my chaps/oilskins when it gets ugly. I can walk all day with them too. They will resole/rebuild (for a price) forever. I like tem.

RE: Harley Davidson Boots Question
i have red wings.
i hear that the HD boots are made by Wolverine. so if you like the HD boots, you can probably get some very similar Wolverine's for much less cash.

ORIGINAL: bagr
I like the Danner 6" Stinger gore tex boots. They are very warm down to 10-20deg. and not uncomfortable in the heat. I wear them almost everyday for the last 2 years. The soles are wearing very nice.

I also have a short pair of zip-up-the-side Red Wings that are great in the summer.

RE: Harley Davidson Boots Question
My work buys me Red wings. I also wear the HD boots with the zippers instead of laces. Got them on sale and they are comfortable.
