HD Boots. They gave a discount when I got them. Work fine for me.

Good leather boots that go above the ankle.

Sneaker wearers should read this:

Zippers, Zippers, Zippers! They look kind of gay at first but, when you get in from a long day and just zip your boots off to freedom..they look pretty dadgum cool. Plus, you'll get a little air circulating through them at speeds.

If you don't mind wet socks HD is OK. If you hate wet feet get Red Wing or Justin.

ORIGINAL: Kolni
Currently I wear Stanley boots from Payless...$30
I've got a pair of these that I wear now and then and really like. Great bang for the buck and they are solid boots.

However I did find some HD boots with a side zipper on sale once and wear them most of the time now. The convenience of not having to tie laces is just too, well, convenient. I would never buy the HD boots for their retail price since they are just a bit too pricey for my taste.

US Navy issue flight deck boots. Great boots! Sturdy as hell, and the price was right!

Black steel toe Timberlands, wear them all day at work on my feet. And everywhere I ride.

I wear HD boots that lace up the front with side zippers which allows you to get in and out of them easily. I've had them for a little over 2 years and they seem to be a good boot.
