Going back to metric.

RE: Going back to metric.
As a seller, I would suggest eBay, Motorcycle Trader online, and Craigslist. The latter two are the sources that I review most frequently.
Good luck on finding your dream bike. The only dream bikes for me are the makes that are out of business. Zundapp, Vincent, Indian were probably never as good as I remember them--but thememories sure are sweet. You sound like mybuddy on our last ride. When we started out he proclaimed that his Suzuki 1500 was so perfect that it wasthe last bike he would ever own. By the end of the day he was trying to trade all five bikes in his garage on a Triumph.Enjoy.

I've had my share of metric's back in the day but from here on out if it ain't a Harley, someone else is riding it.
Good luck but perhaps you bought the wrong model for your style.

I moved between HD and metric a couple times until I realized what I really wanted was a cruiser and a sport tourer. That's why I currently own both.

This is just a suggestion, so take it for what its worth. If you have your heart set on a Honda, and your 100% sure you want to dump your 08' HD.....and you want a seamless & quick deal. Look around for a dealership that handles both makes Honda, and Harley. This way everything will be kept under one roof, and you should be able to get a better price (still not as good as a private sale) for your HD.
I dont know what your looking for bro, but if you bought a 08" Ultra, you MUST be looking for a high end touring bike....I would think. If that's the case.....give the HD a chance. Its the real deal....where the jap bikes are just playing copy cat games.

Nothing wrong with a Goldwing, and for long hauls you can't beat it.I've had both,it takes a special type of person for the Harleys, good luck.

Just curious.......when you say it's not what you are looking for, why is that? What is it that you find the harley lacking that the gold wing has to offer?
