79.00 for a tourpac & 2 side bag locks. Sounds good. I guess you have to drill out the rivets on the straps to install. I'd like to see more detail on the installation. Thanks for the link.

I saw those lock;s on e-bay today $48.00, under "saddle bag locks" They seem good as long as the thief does not have a pocket knife and cuts your strap? I think that Inertiawix has the best locks for heritage saddle bags and there are alot better locks for road king bags. leon

I stopped by a marine supply store today & picked up a 3-3" stainless keyed hasp locks all keyed the same. I may put them on my saddle bags too. After getting some screws, nuts & washes I installed one on the tourpak. It came out great & I'm really happy with it. Total cost was about 14.00 for each setup. Pics to follow.

Here it is. 3 screws for the top part inserted from the inside of the lid & screwed into short capture nuts which can't be unscrewed from the outside. A little black touch up paint to blend them in. The bottom receiver plate is screwed in from the outside under the lock. I had to put 3 washers between the plate & the tourpak so the lock would clear when locking it. 4 lock nuts are on the inside. The black piece of duct tape is for a little extra protection when opening & closing. It locks very easily & I can just it hang straight down if I don't need to lock it.

Now that's American ingenuity. Great job. Did your tourpak come with the quick release snaps? I have an 08 and mine doesn't have them. Saddlebags do but not the tourpak.

Mine came with the quick release snaps. Thanks for the good feedback.

BTW, the hinge is hidden under the top lid. Instead of mounting it folded under the top part of the hasp I left it straight up & screwed it in.

I did mine today I used a 2 1/2 hasp with only 2 rivets in the hasp and screwed the lock into a piece of white plastic cutting board.I just bought my tour pak and it came with quick release snaps.but it did not have the emblem on each side of the top.leon The one that I used has the lock on the botttom, and not on the hasp,.Thing that I like is that theives known it is locked.

I got mine from Zanottis in June and it has the emblems but no quick snaps. Must've given me the old model.

For anyone that has had the 54360 lock set for the leather tour pak for a while - any problems? I know that it is more money than the one by InertiaWRX, but I like the look of the HD lock better, plus it can be keyed to my bike. I already have 3 keys (bike, helmet lock and leather lowers lock) and do NOT want a fourth. (as an aside, I do plan to get the INertiaWRX saddlebag locks which can also be keyed to my bike).

My only concern is when the tourpak is fully loaded, can it interfere with the cable and be unable to be unlocked? Also, does the side key interfere at all with the right saddleback lid? The Tour Pak already prevents fully opening the saddle bags. Don't really want it to be interfered with an additional inch or so.
