Got to wonder how many people worry about the break-in when they buy a used car or truck?

Got to admit, you have an excellent point there. I've never grilled the previous owner of a used car about how it was broken in. Simply asked to see maintenance records and tried to form a judgement as to how the vehicle was treated.

I hereby admit to everyone that I'm being overly **** about this! I'll do my best to stop, at least until tomorrow!

When we get our new police motors, we always run the crap out of them from day one. They get no break in and seem to be no worse from the lack of it.

There are a lot of give away clues as to how a bike was used or abused.Look at the teeth on the pulleys, have someone who knows motors listen to whatever you are considering.Get to know your dealer.
