Hello, I am Shelle and I drive a Dyna Low Rider. I have a question about Led Lights. I was trying to install two led lights on the front of the bike. Every time I put the bulb in the front left side the left tail light would come on and not turn off. It was as though the led light was grounding something out. I never could get the lights to work. What could I be doing wrong? Or is there some other attachment I need first?

Are these aftermarket led's or are you replacing factory bulbs in your turn signal?

 

I installed some LED signal lights on a sportbike of mine not long ago. My LEDs were 'polarity specific', that is, they would only work if if wired the one way. If the polarity was backwards they wouldn't operate.
How 'bout you try reversing the power leads to them? They'll all need to be fed in the direction they require to eliminate the issues you're having.

If these types of LED lights are used around engine compartment to make engine "glow" is there any laws about riding with them on. HD site said something like was "legal" for show use only when not moving???
