My new lid!

RE: My new lid!
Thanks! It took a little to convince myself to spend that much but it's a damn nice lid and I know that I wouldn't wear something without some sort of style. So I figure that I can justify spending a little more if it means that I'll wear it more often.

Thanks. I know some of you may think I'm nuts for spending that much on a non DOT helmet, but I'm of the opinion that wearing a non DOT helmet is better than not wearing one at all.
I just hate the bobble head look and know that if I bought a new DOT helmet that I just wouldn't wear it. This may get me used to the idea of wearing a helmet and later I can be comfortable with the bobble head.

Hitting your head in any sort of helmet is better than without if you ask me.
As far as a false sense of security, you could make that claim with any sort of safety equipment. Do you think that people shouldn't wear a jacket because there's no way that it's going to help if you get run over?
There's no sure thing when it comes to safety equipment. Nothing is going to protect you 100%. You could be wearing all the fanciest, latest safety equipment and still get killed.
