I dont want to wear a T shirt when riding this summer. Any good links or advice for lighter gear(mainly jackets)to ride in summer.

A thin leather vest works good at keeping stuff off of your chess, and just wear your T-Shirt under that. Long sleeved or short sleeved.

 

Good summer gear includes a pair of shorts, tanktop, and a pair of flip flops.[sm=smiley20.gif]

 

no matter what ya get,,,,,cut the sleeves off!

 

I got the HD Ventura mesh jacket last summer. Silver colored, cool, and offers protection with the mesh and removable light weight armor. Someone sells a Kevlar mesh lng sleeve shirt that has got good reviews for summer. The jacket is surprisingly cool in the hot sun. Kind of insulates you but allows the wind to go right through.

 

I have a black Joe Rocket mesh jacket. Wore it to work today and wear it in the summer. Keeps ya fairly cool...

 

in summer i ussually wear a long sleeve shirt...lots of junk on the roads gets kicked up....i hear that a leather vest with a pair of arm chaps is very tough look. brian
