If it's in your locked saddle bag (therefore out of reach of the driver/rider), then it's not an "open container" here in CA. Not sure about other states though.

Got two... a big one for the golf bag and a slightly smaller one for the saddlebag. There's been too many nightsof riding all day then ending up ina motel withonly a Coke machine in sight - to each their own, butI'm old enough to decide for myself what worksfor me. And as far as the golf bag goes - a good flask of single malt while on the links completes the whole experience the way Scotsmen and God intended golf to be played.
