Default Dyna - Softail upgrade from Sportster

A friend of mine is looking to trade in his sportster for a Dyna wide glide. He is a rather big guy and always looked small on the sportster. What is your opinion should he go one step further and get the softail?Or is the Dyna a bike that most people are happy with? Will he regret it?

I had a Sportster, and I'm 6'2. I traded up for a Dyna and never looked back. Softail woul have been fine too, but I like the suspension of a Dyna. If I traded again I'd probably get a Wide Glide just because it's longer, and probably a better fit for me, but still, I love the Super Glide. It's sporty and handles well and has the 96 motor in a light frame. Hope that helps!
