As stated many times here, Plexus and the Honda cleaner work great, Lemon Pledge also works but I've found that it attracts bees, park anywhere near an apple orchard in the fall and you'll see what I mean.
What surprises me is that no one has mentioned Protect All, I have been using it for decades on the whole bike, good stuff.

 

I must be old school I just use water, it has been around for a long time- works for me quite well-

 

To polish I use ProtectAll on the whole bike, including windshield. I also use it on my cars. Great stuff.

To clean I like the 50/50 water/peroxide.

 

Sprayway Glass Cleaner. This stuff melts off bugs and won't cloud the windshield. Best part is you can buy a case of 6 cans for less than 1 can of Plexis.

 

Yeah that!........but it is called Original Bike Spirits now. This stuff is the best use it all the time and does clean and polish every thing on a bike.

+1 Bugslide. I use it on the windshield, paint, and chrome. Works great.

 

I've tried them all. By far, Plexus is the best.
