Changing the oil every month sounds excessive, but I do ride alot. I only work 3 days a week so I have alot of free time, so i put alot of miles on over the course of a month.
As for the K&N, I checked a couple online sites and it was listed as 80-85 plus shipping. I read some post about chain car part stores having them cheap, but I looked at various sites and they only offered car ones. But if I have to take it to the shop and have them change around the mix and everything I might not do it as its gonna ad up

I will service my bikes before I put them away. I run some fuel stabilizer, change all three fluids, pull in new brake fluid, lower air pressure to about 20 pounds, put them on a stand and install a battery tender. In the spring I add nitrogen to the tires and start them. That’s it. I went for a 20 mile ride today. It took about ten minutes to be ready to ride.
