I stand pat on MM covers two conitions. 1. modification does not void a claim unless dealer proves it was the mods fault. 2. using manufactures product i.e. oil etc to maintain warrenty only if it is provide free.
No manufacture can "void" a written warrenty. They can only DENY a clam against that warrenty.

Well I kinda of figured that removing the hitch would be a no brainer before taking it to a dealer for warranty work. I just can't grasp the logic on how a side car is ok but not a trailer. But I guess thats just the way it is.

Avoid the spin when being sold an extended warrenty. They are service contracts.
