So I went home last weekend for my Mom's 70th Birthday. My 2 younger brothers (from Atlanta) met me back in Ohio to surprise her as we have not been together as a group for several years. She was completely shocked when all three of us (and her 2 granddaughters) were all standing there when she answered the door. I thought she was going to pass out, it took her awhile to calm down.
It was a great weekend and we spent many hourslooking through old photo albums. While looking in one of the albums out popped this picture. I thought I had lost this picture but there it is, me with my 2 prized possessions, one of which was my first bike, a 75 Sportster.
So be nice, I'm a little heavier now and I don't wear that suit anymore.

My first car was a 1966 Pontiac GTO convertible, looks exactlly like this except it had a black ragtop and red pinstripes.
My second car was a 1969 Chevy Nova 396 4 speed, I was never beaten during street drag racing.

God, what I wouldn't give right now to be able to run this dammd puter better. I have 2 of those suits that I saved from the 70's, one white and one gray, vests, the whole deal.I have a pic of my youngest, he's now 24, going to his Senior Prom in one of my suits. And he has a FRO. Unfortunately he wears size 15, yes, 15 shoes, and couldn't get my 10 1/2D PLATFORM shoes on. He was the HIT of the prom, and he went in a 1968 black Corvette. To top that off, my first "store" bought Harley was a white 1976 XLCH with the red, white, blue #1 on the tank, in '75. Oh ya, HAPPY B'DAY "MOM" THANX for the post and the trip up or down memory lane.
