Default Last of Larry's bikes.

I've seen again on Discovery channel the replica of Indian Larry's last biker buildoff, where he built and rode the Chain of Mistery to his last show.
What a bike.
What a man.
What a loss.

They don't make many like him any more. What a loss to the Biker culture.

I was lucky enough to see one of his bikes at Sturgis a couple of years ago. I didn't care for it much when I saw it on TV but in person it was incredible. The detailing was unbelievable.

Yes ,trulyone of a kind.I just heard that Kieno will be branching out and starting his own shop.Paul *** is also starting a new venture ,continueing to do his leather work and building bikes.I believe both will remain in Brooklyn. Not sure what will happen with the original shop.Paul and Kieno are two amazing people and I don't think anyone else would have been able to keep the Indian Larry Legacy alivelike they did.

I enjoyed seeing Indian Larry above all the others because he actually was able to communicate his passion. There was an open musing and explanation of WHY he was designing as he did... what fueled a particular "line" or bit of engineering on a particular bike.

No screaming and other B.S., just the thoughtful, design progression of an artist with a passion for motorcycles!

As time progresses, Indian Larry will be someone of whom I'll strive to learn about. Interesting guy! Sorely missed!

his shop stands 5 city blocks from where i was born & raised. i watched him work many times as i stood outside the chain link fence during the summer hours years back.

i have a few photos of myself & Larry with my eldest son just before his passing.

i still swing by the shop to say hello to Paul & Kieno & Co.

who remembers Gasoline Ally? . . . .
