Denim Paint ?

RE: Denim Paint ?
I've had black denim since 06. I haven't noticed anychange in color since the day I bought it. It is stored in a garage when I'm not riding so it isn't normally parked in the sun.I'm very lazy so if I want to clean it up real quick I just wipe it down with glass wipes that come in a can. You might see them in the auto section at walmart or somewhere.I have strapped bags down to the rear fender with bungee cords without any scratches. I wouldn't even try that with a clearcoat. This has got to be the most care free paint you can get.

RE: Denim Paint ?
Thanks for all the helpful hints and reassuring words, guys. I understand now, that wax would not be logical, but I guess I was looking at it more for protection from the elements. Would glass cleaner offer that protection, or am I missing something? Other than personal preference, I see no real problem with this paint then ?
Yesterday, when I first heard of these potential denim paint quirks from my dealer, myinitial thoughtswere that more care and precaution would be needed forthis sensitive paint job. However, most replieshere tell me the contrary and that it would need less attention, thus giving me more time to be out riding. Right on !!!
