RE: A Sturgis question...
Went up in 2005 with3 others. 2of us wereon HD's, 1 was on a Kawalski and the other on a yamahappy. We were welcomed everywhere. It was a great time. Saw every type of bike under the sun. Hung out with a guy on a tricked out goldwing, saw a guy riding a bike made out of wood, and met a guy with one leg riding a Hd with a side car. He backed that bike up with one leg...pretty amazing to see.

Yeah, except now if you don't tow your bike you're not welcome.

He's a dead man! Jk
Back then you were frowned upon, now everyone is welcomed. Most there tow their bikes. Weird.

Ride what ya want. Go where ya want. Do what ya want. If someone else doesn't like it, who cares? Freedom means being yourself, going your own way, don't be a ******** and you won't have any problems. The Black Hills area is very biker friendly. Noname

The ralley is for EVERYONE. The only problem your friend will have, is deciding on which Harley he will trade the Gold Wing on!
After seeing, and hearing, mile after mile of the sweet HD experience your friend will be HD HOOKED!

Last year it seemed like Harleys were the minority. Everywhere I looked I saw a goldwing trike with a gray haired fellow grinning from ear to ear.

It's is for everyone. You will see every type bike imaginable. Last couple of years their have been more scooters!
10 years ago most rode their. Now most trailer including me. If your on the road and need assitance and you see a black Hemi Ram Dodge quad cab pulling a black 8.5X20 Cargo trailer flag me down. I have tools - gas - even a tire changer. Or haul you to the next town.
Oh and the front of the trailer has a bar and shield logo.

This year will be my first trip (hopefully). For me, I ride with anyone.. I am not a brand *****... ride what you like, I like HD's, so that is what I have... Personally, I wouldn't give a **** what anyone thought... And, as far as an @sskickin' goes... it would probally do me some good.. I think I will find a GW to ride up there, just for that reason alone, LOL...
