I use my bike to grocery shop all the time. Brought a vacuum cleaner home from Walmart on it. I use it to get hay and grain somedays if I really just want to ride.

My dad and I were discussing our favorite little fishing hole that happens to be at the end of what makes for a great ride...

We began to wonder... could you tow a SMALL 2 man boat with a harley or goldwing??

Anyone ever done it????
please say you ain't from Louisiana,.......I HAVE seen someone pulling a boat,..and sucessfully launching it at Chicot State Park with a lawn mower.[8D]
The visual I'm getting on this one is priceless.

And if you have a crash a boat through the back of the head might hurt a bit.

Na, you can't do it.

I do not think anything should be done to your Harley that the factory has not intended it for unless they sell it to you..... Let me think some on this....

In this case, the bike & the starter cart are heavy PLUS; race fuel, Harley Davidson beer, Harley Davidson cooler, Harley Davidson lawn chairs, Harley Davidson tool chest, Harley Davidson clothing, Harley Davidson race suit, Harley Davidson helmet, & naturally the Harley Davidson pop up tent (all Harley Davidson authorized of course but they have not sold us Harley Davidson ice yet). I will have to wait for that. This will work because Harley Davidson said it is OK & sells it.

As for bad braking, The trailer brakes; I guess no one knew that Harley Davidson sells Brembo calipers & rotors for a side car? They can be easily adapted to serge brakes master cylinder (boat application under Harley Davidson Marine Division or HDMD) located on the tongue of the trailer. When the brakes are applied on the towing bike, the master cylinder engages the Brembo brakes, the weight of the trailer with cargo gives much more traction than a bike would ever give. Makes you almost feel like you are going over the windshield.

After reading the above negitive posts I thought the following; It is called doing the doing and not a negative outlook. On second thought, na….It can’t be done!

Here are a few photos, the bikes all in a line is all the same but the rest are thinking outside of the box. Slim has lots of fun trailering his bike to the 1/8 mile. You can see him ther on RT 27 on the Dade/Broward line.
