What's cheapest TC88B upgrade to 100TQ/100HP?
What's the cheapest, most durable, and reliable way to upgrade a carburated TC88B to a daily driven 100lb/ft torque and 100hp spec with a flat torque curve from 2000-5200 rpm?
96", 103", 110",117? Stroked? Cam? New Jugs? New Heads?new carb? I'm looking for the econo build, but it must be a reliable build which I can drive daily to work and long trips on the weekends. What manufactures of parts, HD or independent?

Get on craigslist and do a search for V-MAX or ZRX....sorry man just jerkin your chain.
I can tell you what not to do. Don't go to your dealer. Screaming Eagle parts are expensive, and I don't think it's because they are the best. My bike runs great now, but I'm pretty sure I could have had better results for cheaper. Ask around a lot, find a good independent shop in your area.

GMR performance or Headquaters 95" kits. With a proper dyno tune you should get 100/100 reliable with good drive ablility. all in all youll probably spend anywhere from 2-3 grand depending on how fast you want to go.

Thanks guys. I 'll do some more research on the independent items and try to find a good local shop to do the work. I hear there are plenty in the Kansas city area.

Remember that you can select a group of compatible, proven components for your build, save 20 to 50% off list prices using the internet without even trying, and provide the parts to your indy for the build. I did and it saved me a ton of money!

Somebody have a link to the GMR stuff? Headquaters has some good stuff according to thier website and the kits appear to meet my needs. Does anyone have a bike running a HQ setup with 30K+ miles on it?

That may qualify in your area, but how can you base that as a response. The Imdies in my are don't know squat about Twin Cams. I have built hundred's of bikes with SE parts that make well overa hundredhorse. I am a dealer. Don'tproject personal experience to everyone. Next time quote about higher priced and maybe using other parts, or don't go to this dealer to help out. Some dealers are good.
