Default DYNO TEST RUN NOT GOOD

I have a 2005 roadking with 95motor 203 cams 2 in 1 samson cailber exhaust. Dyno max hp.77.6 and torque was 88.71. Motor ran rich at 2100 to 2800 below 12 on air fuel chart then at 2800 ran at about 13.5 to 4000 and back rich down to 12.0 to 6200. I am runing 2 inch baffle in pipe. Any help to get max hp and tq. What should the 95 kit dyno at. I have stage 2 down load.

There are several things to consider. You state it has a Stage 2 download. The first thing I would do is consider a SERT for proper tuning. Then get it tuned by someone that knows how to tune with the SERT. This will help correct the AFR you mentioned. You could also consider a PCIII but my preference is the SERT.

The numbers aren't that bad. It's just a matter of money to get more.

There is nothing you can do with just the Stage II download. Your dealer should be shot for selling it to you with the configuration you have. There are no adjustments for your air/fuel ratio with the download. The SERT will allow you to adjust all the ranges you spoke of where it was running lean or rich. When they get done (and I don't mean your dealer but one that knows what they are doing) you will be running consistant through all ranges. Your hp/torque will go up and your gas milage will not go down.

I really wish that when you join the forum a big box would pop up that says "Before You Join This Forum You Must Promise Not To Have The Harley Download Installed." The stage II download quit working properly about a year and a half ago. They don't work at all on the 06's. You have some major motor work with some quality pipes. Spend the money to make it run right.

Now, with all that said you should be able to get maybe at best 85 hp with your setup. If you want to get in the 90 range you will have to have some head work done. You can talk to Springer about that. He really knows what he's talking about. I have the 95 ci motor on my 2000 Roadglide. With Rinehart True Duals and the Stage II download I was getting right at 80 hp and if I remember right around 88 ft lbs of torque.

Yes, you can use a power commander. They are very user friendly. Leaning it out because it is slightly rich is not going to gain anything. I am no expert, but do know that the more fuel I threw at my 95" on the dyno the more tq. and hp. it produced. My numbers for air/ fuel were in the 12 to 13 range. I had a stock H.D. 95" with 203 cams, S.E. air cleaner and big radius pipes. 92 tq. and 78 hp.

Thats why I ordered a carb for my 2006 FXST and its probably the last year for them? the Sportys might get a few more years, but not many!

I would not like going through all the Great Things! I hear that one has to do with EFI...I'm sure it's nice, but not for me!

Yep, you need tuning. My 88 makes more power than what you have.........

Those numbers certainly seem low. Iam running the same set-up, except for exhaust, I've got the Bassani 2 into 1. Haven't dynoed yet as I would like to get 1000 miles on the bike before I dyno it.
Kind of hard to get miles in January in Jersey[8D]
