Passed my 1000 mile service
Had 850 miles on the odom before a sudden need came up tobe inVegas. 400 mile round trip so now I am at 1250. Obviously over my 1000 mile service. Does that pose any warranty issues?

Shouldn't be an issue. I would call my service dept when you get back and schedule the service. It's a rare bike that comes in with an odometer reading 1000 miles! The closest I ever came was 1100 miles!

Hell, it doesn't make any difference. I have a friend here in NY that has a 2003 Road King and still hasn't taken it in for his 1000 mile checkup. The warranty has long since expired and the RK hasn't been out of his garage in nearly 2 riding seasons. I'm trying to get him to "let" me ride it for him, but so far, NG. No one is expected to bring it in exactly at 1000 miles. No sweat.

I don't know why and I didn't ask, but my dealer's service guy told me to bring it in aroung1200 miles instead of 1000. I'mstilltaking it in around1000.
