Indianapolis Southside and Edinburgh are very impressive. I am impressed with their honesty and integrity, makes me glad I bought a Harley.

I bought my used Sporty from them a couple of weeks ago. Everyone I dealt with there treated me like they were genuinely interested in making me a happy and satisfied customer. And always patient and a smile answering my questions.
I rode 220 miles in on the bike I was trading and a few hours later was on my way and riding back home on the Sporty. They treated me like I'd bought the most expensive bike they had on the floor.

 

Last month I ordered a Forktube at Departure, paid out front....they said within a week, a month and three phone calls later inquiring about it's status have been responded to with "I'll check and call you back" but I've never been called back. So. Richmond HD told me if I order it Monday they'll have it Friday.

If I get no Joy at Departure Monday I'm disputing the credit card charge charge and Departure becomes "The Departed".. poor way to earn someones business on a first transaction.

I prefer supporting Independents, but they have to be at least forthcoming with the facts.

Just a note, to an INDY shop that deserves notice !!! Vince at Cycle Solutions, on US- 19 in North Crystal River goes above & beyond the call of duty, not only is he a factory certified mechanic, he was shop forman at the local stealership till he couldn't take it any more.
He caters to all types of bikes, from shovels & classics to wild custom baggers & chops, he gives you every cent worth for your money, & he stands behind his work!!!
That alone is worth its weight in gold !!!!

Jim's HD in St Pete got me a new fork tube & back on my the road. Good folks who gives back to the community. The road construction blocking access there must put a cramp in test rides & business in general.
