Might check with a mini-storage in the town/area where you what to begin you ride. Many of these have an area where trailers can be parked and most are fenced and secured. Would cost you a few bucks but might be work the piece of mind.

There's a HD dealer in Augusta, GA off of I-20. You could check with them if it's enroute to your destination. Additionally, there is a secured storage off exit 200 on I-20 west. It's on the corner of Steven's Creek Rd and Riverwatch Parkway in Augusta. I had storage there with no complaints. Let me know if you need some info.

Option # 2: Trailer your scooter all the way to your destination in FL. Florida is a long state and you'd be better off skipping the riding experience through South GA and North FL. for the opportunity to travel the coast line to the Keys.

I'll be leaving from Ottawa Canada and I though I'd make it to South Carolina then leave the trailer somewhere and drive the bikes to Florida. I wouldn't want to waste all the beautiful weather through Georgia and Northern Florida In a truck and not on the bike.
That is a good idea about the WalMart, I have used their kindness before and stayed in thier parking lot for a few days but I was always there or relatively close by.

You could leave it at a storage place. Most also have places to park vehicles for shor time. Also, you could try a Harley dealer in the area , chances are they would let you park it there for free.
