Default Boots?

I just wandered what kind of boot you all were wearing? What do you primarily look for in your boots? I currently have some steel toe Engineers boots, but I'm looking for something different.

Anyone ever hear of or try Alpinestars Roam boot?

Mike

I recently bought a pair of Oxtar Matrix boots. I know a guy couple guys that have used them for some time. They are waterproof and offer shin and ankle protection.

When we bought wife her own Harley (Sportster first, Nightrain now) she went berserk with Harley clothes. She has 3 pair of Harley boots. Low tops, lace-ups and high boots. She has almost 20,000 miles on a 2 year old bike, all recreational, so if she likes Harley stuff, well ya gotta spend it on something!

I bought a side-zip/front-lace-up ankle boot by HD.. then had to have them replaced, as the soles literally split, & the stitching frayed.. so got the same boots; super comfotable, good grip... same thing happened, so I opted for CAT boots; steel toe, hard wear, & so far, no prob...

Yep thats what I wear, and I dressed them up with some Harley boot chains, they do look good. I went to the dealer last night and check out some HD boots, I will be wearing them this spring.

For cold weather riding, I have a pair of insulated Rocky boots w/ thinsulate. They are great for keeping feet warm without being big & bulky.
