As a typical Brit, I always carry an umbrella as it rains a lot over here. Very easy to use with a pillion passenger on board:

The one that I posted does. I rode in some pretty heavy rain from Glenwood Springs to Dillon, Co. in it last summer and I was dry as a bone.

I ride with Himalaya Motor Bike Wear and have found it to be quite effective. Never had any problems with it. The manufacturer site is:

I've found that I am quite visible in poor visibility with the black/orange combination with the built in reflective patches.

I bought a one peice moto boss rain suit from cyclegear. Havent had a chance to use it yet, but if folds into its own pocket and slips on and seals up good. Also has YKK zippers which I always like seeing. Cost me 60 bucks.

Tour Master works well for me. http://www.tourmaster.com/xcart/home.php?cat=8
Got caught in the rain coming home with the temp in the high 30's. Was dry and warm for the 40 minutes it took to get home on the interstate.
