I guess I've learned to operate using full gloves over the years. But I agree, I don't even look at a bike without gloves on.

The majority of damage in such cases is to the palm area. This is where you catch yourself when thrown down, not on your fingertips - a natural reaction to any fall is to put the hands out to stop/catch yourself. Of course your fingers will take a beating for sure, there's no way around that, what I'm saying is something is better than nothing. Iappreciate the dexterity of having fingertips that are able to do things that I can't do with full gloves on. The altnernative is no gloves at all vs gloves. I don't like going without any at all,it's just pushing your luck.

I wear em cus I need a 2XL glove to fit my large fist, but then the fingers hang off by a 1/2 inch or more making it difficult to find and use the controls! Can't find full fingers that fit.

I have had full gloves fill up with every thing in a crash. It was like not have any at all. My hands had gravel in them. My skin had gravel under them with full gloves. I use fingerless gloves They do the job better.

Cause they uh..I feel they better uh.....they look like I just uh.....I use them to pick uh..... So what's the question? Oh, fingerless gloves. What the hell you need fingerless gloves if you had no fingers?
