headlight modulator
Does anyone know why the MoCo does not sell a headlight modulator? At least I could not find one.
Seems like a good idea based on my search of the forum posts.
Any downside (impact on electrical system, etc.).

RE: headlight modulator
Thanks... I was looking at the site you noted... appears to be some good product.
My problem now is I switched out the stock headlamp for the HD dual bulb halogen kit (67864). Will have to check to see if I can still install the modulator.

Saw a metric the other day with modulator. If they can't see that coming, they're blind. Anything that helps you be visible helps!

RE: headlight modulator
It is an easy install. Installed in my stock headlight right behind bulb housing, Had to drill one hole for the light sensor. Works great.

RE: headlight modulator
3 reasons why:
1) Some states may be illegal as it may be too much like flashing lights on emergency vehicles
2) Truck drivers see flashing light as a courtesy "you have cleared to move into the lane... then get ur azz ran over
3) Some drivers may find it irritating as hell and just roll out the road rage
And I suppose there may be some kind of liability issue

1) Legal in all states.
2) Trucker recognize a quick flash, not the constant flashing of a modulator(most will think it's a LEO.
3) It can be turned off if it seems wise, most drivers will not immediately reach for the Uzi.
The liability is they are most liable to see your *** coming and not pull out in front of you.
They will definetely not be able to say they "didn't see see you"
