HD Badlander Goggles versus Panoptx and Wiley's?
A friend of mine has a pair of HD Badlander goggles with 2 lenses and a hard case he wants to sell. Unfortunately he lives in Georgia and I need a good pair and don't mind paying for a them. I have read some threads on the Wiley's and Panoptx and there are opinions all over the map. Any feed back?

Alot of it is all personal preference and fit. Every head is different and each brand is made for different type heads just like helmets. I had the Panoptix a while ago and werent' impressed with them. I have been looking for a local store that carries the Wiley-X brand so I can try them on before buying. I would suggest heading down to your local stealer and trying them on and if you like the fit of them let your friend know.

I use the Panoptix Sirroco, pretty nice glasses, but I wished they could get darker in the brightest sunlight.
Also each style does fit different Heads, so make sure they fit before you buy them.

Not every goggle will feel right to every person. I wear glasses so I was looking for a good set of goggles that would go over my glasses. I stopped at a Victory MC shop and they just happened to have a set of Airfoil goggles. I tried them on and ended up buying them. They are tinted and very lightweight on my face and the good thing about them, they only cost me $30. I realize that there will be a lot of different opinions about what is best, but I didn't want to spend that much money. They worked for me and I would do the same thing again if given the oportunity.

I tried a pair of the new Harley glasses with photochromatic lenses (the ones that are supposed to change with light conditions).
They looked just like the Badlanders. I didn't like the fit when the foam 'goggle' insert was on. They fit fine as just sunglasses. However, the lenses didn't change (get dark) enough so I returned them.

At least you all can wear goggles. I haven't found a pair that will fit my little head yet!

I was bent on the Wiley-X's JP-4. Went to a dealer and didn't like the fit. My wife bought me Panoptyx Sirocco's for Christmas. Wasn't crazy about the style. Liked the look of the Diablo's. Returned Siroccos, tried on Diablo's settled for Raptors. Now I'm happy.
