HB:
Seriously, take a look at N-Line trailers. web page: http://www.n-line.com
They had a display at Laughlin last year and they looked pretty nice. I liked the single wheel idea.
Check them out.

mjh, I had seen these on here before. Definately different. I am sure they work good or they wouldn't be on the market. My only concern would be how it would do rocking back and forth in curves. seems like it would want to sort of flop one way then another just a tad. I was on another site where they were made out of 55 gal. barrels. kinda liked those. Ran into a fellow when I went to naples fl. this fall had his coffin with him. Built it his self.

HF trailer kit. Make sure you buy the 8" wheels and NOT the 12" wheels kit.
Sheet of 3/4 inch plywood.
Sears 20 cubic foot cartopper.
Lengthen the tongue 18"
Narrow the frame to 36"

Pulls like a dream.

Mikeeeeeeee, That's probably what I'll do until I can find something that is going to be a head turner. The nice thing about that type of trailer is that the box can be taken off and use it to go to Home depot and pick up building supplies. Maybe I can put an extendable tongue in it for the 16' stuff. LOL

At Christmas time we do a toy run. I take the cartopper off and put this on instead.
I always bring up the rear.

I'm looking into one of the tent type trailers. Most salespeople recommend the 12" wheels vs the 8". Have you tried pulling one with the 12" wheels on it? Would the bigger wheels make it handle worse?
I was always told not to use small wheels due to heat buildup and possible blow out.
I realize the smaller wheel would lower the whole unit slightly, but I would still be weary of heat build-up and blowouts.

I like the coffin idea, what about a hf trailer with a coffin for a large dog? Maybe you ask your local high school vo-tech if they can lay fiberglass, make a coffin mock up out of Styrofoam. then have them lay fiberglass over it.
