Default Riding the Dragon 6/13, 14 and 15

If any of you are interested we have a group of mostly the Atl. GA (Helen Hellions) area folks hosting some of the guys from FL who want to ride some twisties, but also some TN and NC folks and even a gent from VA coming out to ride the Dragon the weekend of June 13, 14 and 15. Right now the Ironhorse Lodge is holding that weekend open for this group and with enough reservations we can have the place entirely to ourselves. So if any of you would care to join us, please do. Check out the entire thread about the ride here: https://www.hdforums.com/m_2607600/m...tm.htm#2731791

It should be a blast. Yes, we do know it's better to ride the Dragon during the week that time of year and that it may be a tad crowded, but since some of us couldn't get away during the week, the weekend it is. It would be really cool to have the entire place to all of our HDF selves. There are quite a few accomodation options at the Ironhorse Lodge. Most of the Atlanta, GA area group will be riding up the evening of 6/12.Please join us if you'd like.

GAgirl, this sounds like a good time. I will place it on my calendar - butI can't guarantee. What's the phone number of the Ironhorse Lodge just in case?

Tony, it would be awesome to finally meet you and I hope you do make it.

The phone number for the Ironhorse Lodge is: 828-479-3864. Their website is: http://www.ironhorsenc.com/and they have quite a few reservation options. A reservation does require payment of one night's stay to hold it. We've already got quite a few people going and it should be a really fun time.

Yes, it's just not been decided upon but somewhere just north of Atlanta as we havepeople coming from Kennesaw, South Cobb, Canton, Alpharetta, Morrow and Newnan.

Cool. Hopefully, I can get off the pot and decide soon, so I don't miss out on the lodge. Of course, I can always stay somewhere else - allows me to ride even more!

I will look for your updates.

Hell Tony, go ahead and make a reservation, if you can't make it, they'll put it towards a stay at another time and it looks like a really great place. The Atl. area group will be meeting up sometime the evening of the 12th at a location to be announced, to ride up together. It's Dry up there, but we have a keg and beer wagon coming, other libations, a big tent, chairs, etc., etc., all heading that way as some of the wives are caging it to bring along the goodies and supplies. It should be a fine time and Ironhorse serves breakfast and dinner including Prime Rib. What's not to like?
