Default Screaming Eagle ignition???

My wrench, who recently installed S&S 510 gear drive cams has talked me into putting in Sreaming Eagle ignition. I am not sure I understand the benefits from this although I'm sure there are some. What exactly does it do and what will be the benefits to me?

hotter sparke with more voltage. Realistically, you will see and feel no improvement over stock, unless you put it on a dyno. You may see 1 or 2 mpg better at best.

If you were building a high compression motor and needed the hotter spark to ignite high octane fuel ( high octane is harder to burn) then I would say its a good idea, but if your staying stock compression, and never going to race I wouldnt worry about it.
