My bro-in-law is down in McAllen. Not sure if he's used their service, but he does get his stuff there. I'll have the wife call him. There is also RoadRunner HD down the road from there. They are pretty popular.
Might put a post in the SW Region forum.

I'm from the Valley and I got my first HD there. It has been a few years since I have been there because I'm in the Navy and stationed in Cali.but when I was back home everyone seemed really helpfull and nice. Service Dept was pretty good to. They are one of 2 shops down there so they always have a lot of rides and poker runs and that sort of stuff quite offten. Then durning the summer and stuff like that they have Bar-b-qus every other Sat. That was a few years ago but i'm sure that they still put that stuff on. My question, Why are you going down there anyway?

A group of us made a run from Austin down to McAllen a few months ago. While down there, a buddy of mine developed a problem with the stator on his '03 Anniversary Heritage. We ended up over at the Rio Grande Valley HD dealership. Everyone we encountered at the dealership could not have treated us any nicer. They were able to take care of the bike and have him back on the road (for our run to South Padre) in no time flat. Good people. Their new location (relatively new) is really nice and far and away larger than the old place they had on Hwy 83. Roadrunner HD isn't bad either. Although their shop is relatively small. Was justat both of these dealershipswhile on a biz trip down in Brownsville last week.
