In the end the bike gets the short end of the stick.
Even a 1973 Yugo is lethal when you're on a bike.

I hate that too.
I have pulled up to people in town and asked them if it was ok to throw a cigarette in THIER car. (No one really shoots each other up here with road rage). Or ask them if the cig is so disgusting they won't have it thier vehicle, why do I want it in mine?
It probably does nothing, but I feel better after I vent I guess.

Cigarette buts are common (3-4/day),I've had worse.Cold coffee,news papers,gomme and the topper,a well soild diaper.When possible I try to educate cagers by returning there discarded items.

Seriously though....don't get pent up over cigs flying out windows. Sure, it sucks. We have all dealt with it. All I do - if it is really bad -- is give a quick flash of my headlights to them and back off. The driver will most likely correlate the two events (them throwing a butt and you flashing them a second later). That is all you can really do is let them know what they did was not cool withput possibly escalating it into a road rage situation. Of course most of the time I just let it go and cal them a &^%*%( inside my helmet.

I am a smoker too but I never EVER throw them out on the street.Thats what the Ashtray is for.
