Mini-Beast Air Horn

RE: Mini-Beast Air Horn
No. If it did, I'd probably want to start shutting down something, a hatch, engine, etc. The only way I can describe it is that it goes BLAAAAAAAAAAA and BLEEEEEEEE at the same time

RE: Mini-Beast Air Horn
Here are some pics of an install I just finished. This horn came from www.adventuresworkshop.com, it's made by Stebel, and cost $35.99. This is a picture of the compressor.....

...and this is the actual horn. The unit comes assembled as one piece but you can slide the plastic horm from the compressor. Then you can use a piece of 1/4" fuel line to run from the compressor to the horn. Makes for a nice hidden installation.

RE: Mini-Beast Air Horn
I've been thinking of the Mini-Beast A/horn but don't want to spring for it just yet, since I have the cylinder cooling fan to install and have to relocate the existing horn! Have not even taking it out the box, but suspect that the stock horn goes below the forks now on the down tubes of the frame??
My question is, will the Mini-Beast go in that spot too?

RE: Mini-Beast Air Horn
I think you'll be very happy with your $35 dollar option. The horn comes with a relay, you can just plug your stock horn wires into the coil terminals on the relay. Then run a fused hot wire from the battery to one of the contact terminals on the relay. (They don't inlclude a fuse for this, I'd suggest picking up an inline fuse from Autozone or someplace.) Attach the red wire from the compressor to the other contact terminal of the relay.
Like I said in my post before. The unit comes assembled, but you can easily slide the plastic horn shell away from the compressor. Then you can cut off the part of the plastic horn shell that was used to hold it to the copressor. You shouldn't have any problems fitting the horn shell after that.
Good luck.
