Those jackets go for over a grand! Man, it must be tough to have so much money you can't figure out which way to spend it!! "Tell me boys, fur or no fur?"
I'm just jealous....

My '69 Columbia has the dress collar. Mine was ordered without the wind or puffy windy stuff because there aint no wind in mine. Have someone at the shop send you a pic of the dress collar while its up like the cossac collar is up in the web pics.
Good Luck and CONGRATS on your purchase of the only jacket I know of that is engineered for protection on a bike.

The Cossack collar seals better and has more contemporarystyling.

I have had, and still have, both types of collars, not on a Langlitz unfortunately. I prefer the conventional classic collar. When closed and zipped all the way up, it will seal out the wind just as well as the cossack collar when it is closed and zipped all the way up. When open, the classic snaps down and will not beat you in the neck or face. It is just a matter of your taste. Like I said, I prefer the classic for looks and performance. Congrats on getting a Langlitz which is reputed to be the best.
