+1 on the Panoptix Raptors. Have had mine for almost two years and no problems. Awesome glasses.

 

panoptx warrior day/night here. Better for partly cloudy/lower light days. Terrible for riding into the rising or setting sun. Get a dark ver. for sunny days.

 

My problem is not as drastic. What I discovered is that I can't wear sunglasses which are polarized. Gave me a tunnel vision effect. Are yours polarized?, Could be the problem.

 

Have you had your eyes checked lately?

One time years ago, I got new glasses and for several days they drove me nuts, but I couldn't quite articulate what it was that was bothering me.

Fianally, I went to my optometrist and tried to explain it. Then it dawned on me, I told him, "it feels like my eyes want to cross".

You could almost see the light bulb go on over his head. He opened a drawer of lenses, had me look at the chart and as he held one in front of my glasses asked if it was better.
Bam! the feeling was gone. He said that since my last exam one eye had changed more than the other and they were having trouble working together.
He said in cases like that they need to cut prism into the lens.

 

Ha, ha , a few funny replies here, but I never jacked off when I was young (cough cough). Seriously, I guess it happened more with my windshield on. My eyes are 20/20. And it only happened with these glasses. I did notice they are terrible for setting or rising sun, but this happens when sun is high in the sky. Maybe it is something to do with the sun reflecting off windshield or chrome somewhere. Im not saying that these glasses suck because it only happened a few times, but it was enough to really bother me. I guess I could sell them on ebay and try a different pair and that will let me know if that is the problem or not. Thanks for the replies.

I got a yellow lense set about 5 years agao. I finaly broke a sab so I got another yellow lense pair. I have never had any problems day or night. I just wish the frames were better

 

dude see a doctor how the hell can we reply to such a medical thing

 

I wasnt trying to have you diagnose a medical condition, I was just trying to find out if anyone was having problems with the day/night panoptx goggles adding some kind of eye strain or something. I have perfect vision, so that is not an issue. I will try a different pair and see if that helps. Thanks for all the replies and we can put this discussion to an end. thanks

It's not your eyes. It is the lenses. However, the position of your right hand in your photo looks suspicious.

 

I take that as a compliment. If my wee wee comes out that far for my right hand to touch it, then I would be a pornstar. HA HA . Sorry asked such a dumb question. I didnt think this goggles question would evolve into a ************ topic. But gave me quite a few laughs, you guys even have the wife laughin. She said "no way hesstroken it from that distance".
