I usually ride by myself but will ride with one or two others so I guess I'm a Semi-Social rider.
same here. got a couple folksI ride with, but don't like the large groups. I like to stop whenI want to stop, go whenI want to go, eat when and where I am ready, so big large consensus groups are not my thing.

I'm a social person and I like having folks to chat with on lunch stops and rest breaks. It is also a safety factor for females. But there are times I just don't want to have to alter my pace for others...and I just take off by myself. I got a CCW permit and a .45 to help cover the safety issue. So, overall, I guess I'm semi-social.

I usually ride alone. I am social on pit stops, but only long enough to get the blood back into my butt. I will ride with a few others, but I like riding at my own pace and stopping when I want. [sm=biker.gif]

Let's put it this way: I have a select group of people that I ride with and pretty much avoid other riders, in group situations.

At Fund-raising rides/events, I see too many new, unsure riders and show-offs, and don't want to be anywhere near those people when things turn **** up, and starts to take on water.

I realize we all need to start somewhere and even I was a "New" rider once, but I'm talking more about the wanna-be's and the idiots.

What he said,

I do ride with groups but prefer to travel solo or with only 1 or 2 other riders. I like to set my own pace, ride my own ride and don't really enjoy playing "follow the leader". I have no objection though to meeting up with fellow riders for a good party.
+1 I agree party more the better but riding small group or non

I find it to be a lot more relaxing, to ride alone.
